Biography

Mr. Saxon has been employed by the Company since 1983, serving in various capacities, including chief financial officer from 1985 to 1998. In 1998, Mr. Saxon was elected president, Culp Velvets/Prints division. From 2001 through 2004, Mr. Saxon served as executive vice president, chief financial officer and president, Culp Velvets/Prints division. The Board elected Mr. Saxon president and chief operating officer of the Company in 2004. He was elected as president and chief executive officer in 2007. He was elected chairman of the board in 2019 and, effective January 1, 2020, Mr. Saxon assumed the role of executive chairman.
